As Chapter President for 2008, I’d like to welcome you to the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Appraisal Institute’s website. Our chapter consists of 45 designated members and associate members that serve the real estate valuation needs of our clients. For the appraiser: The Appraisal Institute is the acknowledged leader in both residential and commercial real estate appraisal education, publishing, research and professional designation programs. The Appraisal Institute accomplishes this by keeping ahead of the curve in industry developments and technological changes in real estate and financial markets as well as client’s needs. For 70 years, membership in the Appraisal Institute has afforded highly motivated real estate appraisers an edge in knowledge and professionalism over others in their field.
